Sharon Kathryn D’Agostino drives the company’s Citizenship and Sustainability strategy and leads the Worldwide Corporate Contributions team. The team’s partnerships focus on: saving and improving the lives of women and children; preventing disease in vulnerable populations; and strengthening the healthcare workforce. As a result of D’Agostino’s leadership, Johnson & Johnson was among the first private sector companies to make a commitment to the United Nations Secretary-General’s Every Woman Every Child campaign. D’Agostino is one of two private sector representatives on the Board of the World Health Organization’s Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health and a Vice-Chair of the MDG (Millennium Development Goals) Health Alliance. As a global health advocate, she is a prolific blogger about issues that impact the survival, health, and empowerment of girls, women, and children.
