Kindley Walsh Lawlor leads Gap Inc.’s global team, which is responsible for seeking to ensure that workers making the company’s products in more than 40 countries are treated with fairness, dignity, and respect. Serving as a leading company spokesperson, Lawlor consistently advocates that what’s good for society is good for business. She is also responsible for leading the implementation of Gap Inc.’s comprehensive strategy to further integrate social and environmental objectives into the company’s core business operations. Lawlor has been with Gap Inc. for more than 17 years, having worked in many departments within the business. Previously, she served as Senior Director of Gap Adult Production, and also led the Banana Republic Men’s Production team. Currently, Lawlor is the U.S. buyer representative on the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Better Work Advisory Group.
