Biography

Fiona Sadler has worked for British retailer Marks & Spencer for 17 years. Sadler sets policies for the global ethical trade program, leading a team of 24 managers responsible for supplier management, internal and external stakeholder engagement, and implementation of sustainability initiatives. She enables suppliers to meet the Marks & Spencer Global Sourcing Principles and to improve labor standards across the supply chain, while also delivering the ethical commitments of Marks & Spencer’s Plan A sustainability strategy. Sadler’s current focus is on global health and financial inclusion, as well as implementing mobile technology as a communication tool for workers in the company’s global supply chain.
